Our Genesis
Civilitude began with the core ability to deliver technical capabilities in a time-bound manner – probably the most critical element in land development projects. This desire shaped our early days and remains the north star of our business. Our pursuit of getting things done right, reason for tenacity and drive for sustainable growth has been relentless. We started off with K-12 schools and affordable housing projects – and now have a healthy mix of public and private businesses.

Our Community
The Civilitude team members are deeply invested in the greater Austin community. Our company was born here, and is part of its fabric. Civilitude principals have served on numerous city commissions and non-profit boards, and volunteer and teach. As community members, we advocate for policies and programs that will ensure that Austin’s growth is sustainable and equitable. As frequent builders of affordable housing, we are mindful of those who have been left behind in Austin’s prosperity, and strive to build homes and places that will be assets to our community for decades to come. We are determined to do our part to leave Austin better than we found it.
