Civilitude Welcomes Four New Members to the Team
Kyle Moore, Project Engineer II
Engineering Team
We are so excited to first welcome Kyle Moore to our engineering team! Kyle is from Dallas, Texas, but has been an Austinite for 10 years (he loves the proximity to the outdoors). After attending UT Austin for his B.S. in Civil Engineering and B.A. in Economics, he took that love for the outdoors and applied it to his working life. He likes to work on the construction side of projects and gets in the field as much as possible! Some of his past work includes sites on some streets you might know — South 1st and East 6th… ring a bell?
Anthoni Estrada, Graduate Engineer
Engineering Team
Anthoni comes to us from Kyle, Texas. From a young age he helped his dad fix, build, and improve on things around the house, which ultimately brought him into the engineering field. He chose civil engineering specifically once he saw that through civil work, you can greatly impact and help improve a community (we second that one!) On top of that, he loves to travel and has been to 23 states and 4 different countries!
As one of our graduate engineers, Anthoni will be working with our sidewalks team to improve Austin’s accessibility, as well as any surveying work that our projects require. He’s excited to gain more experience improving and renovating different parts of Austin in the coming year!
Evana Wang, Engineering Intern
Engineering Team
From Charlotte, North Carolina, Evana is a current senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying civil engineering. Over the years she has developed a passion for learning about the effects of infrastructure on the health of communities. We could explain more about Evana and her interest in civil engineering/design, but it might be better if we put it in her own words:
“Whenever I look out into the built environment, I love being able to appreciate the purpose behind every design element and its effect on the local community. Civilitude has drawn me in with its unique mindset and skillful engineering team. I hope to learn as much as I can from all the talented engineers and staff in the office and explore my own potential in this industry!”
Todd Podbielski, Planning Intern
Planning Team
Originally from the Houston area, Todd attended Texas State University for his dual undergraduate degree in Geography and Public Administration. There, he had the opportunity to travel to the Netherlands to study their sustainable transportation networks and analyze relevant policy needed to create such networks within his own community (we can only hope!). Before coming to Civilitude, he worked with the Capital Area Council of Governments and the Institute for Government Innovation. Currently, he is working as a Research Assistant at Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Architecture while gaining his Master’s of Science in Community and Regional Planning! How he finds enough time in the day, we don’t know! We’re lucky to have him on the team.
He hopes to gain experience at Civilitude applying his knowledge of sustainable and equitable land development processes to real world situations.
