Construction Update: A at Lamppost
Last July, we celebrated a virtual groundbreaking event for our start on A at Lamppost! Fast forward eight months, the work on the 17 affordable housing units is nearly halfway complete. A at Lamppost is a part of the “Affordability Unlocked” ordinance passed by the Austin City Council in 2018. To break it down, rental units will be set-aside for households with less than 50% of the Median Family Income and the homeownership units set-aside for households with less than 80% of the Median Family Income.
In the last months, four buildings have been structured and are ready for interior finishes. Two other buildings are in the framing stage while the last two buildings have our team starting on foundation work.
