We love being a part of the Austin Young Chamber here at Civilitude! It gives our millennials greater opportunity to create both professional and personal success as well as access to some really cool social events — like this month’s Casino Social! Events like this one really take team-building to the next level. Because of its cancellation last year due to COVID-19, the two-year build-up and the fact that it was at the UMLAUF Sculpture Gardens made it even more special. All 14 of us who attended spent the evening playing games like Blackjack, Poker, and Roulette, along with dancing a lot and eating even more. On top of all of that, the obvious favorite part of the night for everyone was observing our Chief Peoples’ Officer, Billy, win the best dressed contest! That sure was a sight to behold. See photo below to understand the hype.

We are so lucky to have a team that not only works hard, but plays hard too. This summer sure has been a good one so far, with more socials and company hangouts than our 2020 selves definitely weren’t used to. And although we are entering another phase of social-distancing, we can’t wait to see what the last few weeks of summer hold. The office garden is getting a re-vamp for the fall, school is starting back up, and there are countless new and exciting projects underway. More on those soon! For now, happy end of summer from us at Civilitude!
