Civilitude Adds to Growing Team
We are very excited to announce two new additions to the Civilitude team. Welcome, John Patrick (JP) Sullivan and Athena Combs-Hurtado!
JP Sullivan joins Civilitude as a Project Engineer II. JP is a rare native Austinite and is interested in helping shape the city he loves. Prior to joining Civilitude, JP worked in a transportation engineering firm and conducted highway and bridge projects throughout Texas. JP received his BS in civil engineering from the University of Alabama where he received scholarships for outstanding academic performance. During his free time, JP enjoys playing golf, spending time on the lake or outside, and cheering for Alabama football. He also enjoys spending most of his time playing with his dog, Minkah. Oh and guess what?! JP is a twin!
Athena Combs-Hurtado joins our team as a Graduate Engineer. Athena is passionate about sustainability and looks forward to building Austin into a more sustainable city. She shares this passion for Civilitude. Prior to joining Civilitude, Athena worked as a system analyst at Albuquerque Water Authority. She analyzed old data sets and created and organized a new database. Athena grew up in New Mexico and Arizona. She received her MS in Solar Energy Engineering from Arizona State University and BS in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico. Athena loves to make new clothes and crafts like handbags, to hike, and almost any outdoor activity. And get this, Athena is also a twin!
