How We Are Staying Connected As A Team

The Civilitude team is staying connected during the pandemic through video conferencing activities, such as our dinner together on Zoom. We used this dinner as a way to catch up with each other and support our local restaurants. We ordered from a variety of places, few of which were Thai Fresh, Tapioca House, local taco trucks, and brews from Austin East Ciders and Zilker Brewery. During this Zoom dinner, we didn’t all order from the same place, but everyone got exactly what they wanted!

Video conferencing gives us a chance to admire our handiwork at giving ourselves haircuts, and some even looked good! We talked about new hobbies that we’ve been picking up in quarantine. One of our engineers has loved his new Nintendo Switch. A couple of employees have been able to make or use creative face masks, like a custom Alabama University mask and a full Darth Vader helmet! Events like these foster good communication and even better attitudes. We at Civilitude are helping each other make it through a difficult time.
